Tennessee River Gorge® Island Cabins®
TRG® Island Cabins® are located on 13 "Private" acres on Nickajack Lake, close to Chattanooga.
On a flat island four feet out of river.
''NO STEEP LAND OR STAIRS''
Boat docks are level with land!
70% of the 27 mile TRG is owned by TVA, Prentice Cooper State Forest and TRG Trust. Consisting of over 37,000 acres.
Our cabins are far enough from one another so you cannot see or hear other people and can have your own private space.
This part of TRG is the most beautiful and untouched. It is also the widest part of the 27-mile Tennessee River Gorge at half a mile wide. The river here moves about one to two mph all year round. With 1,800' feet high mountains and exposed cliffs all around the island and being the highest point of all 652 miles of the Tennessee River. Even after heavy rains we only fluctuate 1 to 3 feet daily year round.
Beautiful Location
You can visit us by car, or you can come via a canoe or boat to our dock.
Each cabin comes with boat dock, one canoe or two kayaks, gas grill, and free firewood.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS IN CABIN. All you need is food and drinks.
